In the process that started with Covid - 19, the effect of the pandemic caused the acceleration of the projected change in the architectural field around the world, and the restriction of social areas, holiday areas, offices, which are the main centers of business life, and social living areas in our country, and we spend almost all of our daily life in our residences, creating new spaces and fictions in the house. brought the necessity. In this process, we have determined that people who do business in sectors that are not affected by the economic contraction need setups that will psychologically benefit from more comfort and more technology-informatics-oriented modernism while transforming their living spaces.
With social isolation, people who have become more humanistic psychologically have started to prefer nature and silence by moving away from crowded structure rigidity.
Garden areas, hobby areas, cooking and eating and drinking areas are now used not only at the end of the day but also during the day, the requirements of our insulation life in architecture and the use of materials and construction techniques have also been affected.
It is a fact that people's use of their homes for longer hours on a day-to-day basis not only affects the life of the building but also brings with it sustainable environmental effects. More energy use, more gas emissions and more waste generation in homes that are used all day, etc.
Hardware required to transform an architectural vision into a different concept;
Passion for innovation, modernism and foresight.
This project, in which we have completely reconstructed the usage areas and the general structure, is a 25-year-old masonry building consisting of a gross closed area of 400 m2 on a 600 m2 land.
The main goal of the project is to make the mass earthquake resistant by removing it from the masonry building category with the engineering methods in reinforcement, to reach different dimensions in design by developing new application techniques with a modernism-oriented vision through sustainable environmental policies and energy efficiency principles.
Throughout the building, the emphasis was placed on designs made of materials that would appeal to the socio-cultural adoption of the homeowners in the climatic conditions of the region, which is compatible with the ecological system.
In the smart home model, which we designed the technology infrastructure of the building with the support of Cisco, the future foresight and the requirements of the communication age were designed.
